A Matrix constitutes a compilation of Products distinguished by explicit Attributes. Each Product within the Matrix embodies a unique amalgamation of the specified Attributes. A Product Matrix Group comprehensively encompasses all the products contained within the Matrix.

Prerequisites: Before generating a Matrix Product, it is necessary to create the Matrix Dimensions and define the Matrix Attributes

Menu Path: Products > Masters > Matrix Dimensions > Matrix Dimensions List > Menu > New

Note: When the option "Include in Matrix when Dimension is selected", the attribute is automatically designated when selecting the dimension in the process of creating a Matrix Product. Conversely, should this option is not selected, manual selection of the attribute becomes necessary when choosing the dimension.

• Enter the Code, Description and select the Dimension

• Enter the Group Code, Description, and Group Prefix

Steps to Select the Dimensions and the Attributes

• Select the Dimension and add the Attribute(s) for the selected Dimension by clicking on the ‘Add’ button in the Attributes column.

• Now go to the Dimensions column click on the add button to add a new Dimension and repeat the above step to add Attributes.

• You can also delete the Dimension and Attribute by clicking on the ‘Delete’ button on the respective columns.

• After selecting the Dimensions and Attributes click on 'Continue'. The following screen appears, showing the maximum length of the Product Code according to the number of Dimensions and Attributes selected. 

The window with a list of Matrix Products appears. Select the products from the list and click on continue. The new Matrix product is created and the Product Master window opens up.
